Game Changer Brewhouse on Ventura Boulevard debuted in the summer of 2024. The revamped space provides a laid-back yet vibrant environment for beer and sports lovers, offering an excellent selection of custom brews, delicious bites, and the opportunity to watch sports in a lively, immersive atmosphere.

Game Changer Brewhouse wanted to create a unique, next-level, game-enjoying experience for patrons, and they contracted MIR Audio Video of Los Angeles to execute its vision. The MIR team seamlessly delivered, creating a state-of-the-art entertainment experience with cutting-edge AV solutions. MIR’s professional design and high-tech execution transformed the venue into the ultimate spot for sports enthusiasts, combining comfort with a state-of-the-art entertainment experience.

The Work Done

MIR Audio Video’s mission for Game Changer Brewhouse was simple: design a space that offers a next-level sports viewing experience, fully integrating each component for seamless one-touch control. The following are the solutions that MIR Audio Video provided to achieve the owner’s vision.

WiFi Network

A reliable WiFi network creates the foundation for the Game Changer experience, ensuring seamless and reliable connectivity between all wireless AV components in the space. It also supports ample sports media streaming and guest connectivity.

Complete Sound System

MIR expertly installed a sound system to deliver crisp and clear audio throughout the space, bringing to life the roaring crowds and commentators’ play-by-play on screen or quietly amplifying background music. The complete sound system includes discrete ceiling and wall speakers strategically placed throughout the venue to ensure the sound complements the visual experience without overpowering conversation, seamlessly infusing the ambiance with clear, vibrant sound to match the crowd’s energy.

15 TVs + 3 Hi-res Projectors

MIR was tasked with delivering premium screen views to every seat throughout the venue, seamlessly integrating screens into the grand, European-style brick arches while preserving aesthetics and functionality. To achieve this goal, MIR installed three hi-res screen projectors, complemented by 15 additional, strategically placed, angle-mounted TVs. MIR’s unique design and professional installation ensure that Game Changer’s patrons can watch multiple games simultaneously or enjoy the same game on different screens without missing any action, enhancing the venue’s appeal to sports fans.

Full Automation

MIR’s AV design includes full automation of all installed components, integrating the screen, sound, and lighting technology. This automation offers seamless control from one interface, allowing Game Changer to smoothly transition between televised events while adjusting sound and light settings as needed for effect.

Dimmable Lighting for Enhanced Ambiance

MIR designed and installed a lighting system with seamless, comprehensive control. This interactive feature allows the owners to easily adjust the lighting for dramatic effect, creating a cinematic feel while heightening the drama on screen to keep patrons engaged.

Control 4 System

MIR also installed a Control 4 system, centralizing control of all the tech via one interface. The Control 4 system allows Game Changer’s staff to seamlessly control the lighting, sound, and displays, ensuring easy adjustment of all connected systems to match the crowd’s energy. Installing this automation delivers a dynamic and responsive atmosphere tailored to enhance the customer experience.
